HUNGARY
Hungary is a small country, but all the more rich in natural beauty. Its topography is varied, ranging from rocky mountains to picturesque plains and charming valleys. The country is criss-crossed by rivers and lakes, which offer stunning views and countless opportunities for recreation. Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, is not only a popular destination for bathing and water sports, but also dazzles visitors with the natural treasures of its surroundings. The valley of the Danube River offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling, while pampering the senses with stunning views and lush green landscapes. The Bükk and Mátra mountains in the north of the country, with their impressive forest and mountain trails, are ideal for nature lovers who want to explore and adventure. The beauty of the Great Plain is characterized by seemingly endless fields and hidden, idyllic villages, which offer peace and tranquility at the same time. The diversity and charm inherent in Hungary's natural treasures captivates everyone who immerses themselves in both the past and the present.
Pápa – The Baroque town where past and nature live in harmony

The town of Pápa is located in the western part of Veszprém County, at the foot of the Bakony Mountains, with a rich history and a special atmosphere. Its Baroque main square, churches, castle and charming streets attract more and more visitors every year.
This small town is not only special for its historical heritage, but also for its peaceful parks, beautiful natural surroundings and cultural events. The city has a vibrant community life, where tradition and modernity go hand in hand.
The Esterházy Castle in Pápa, the Great Church, the Baroque pedestrian street and the Thermal Bath are just a few of the sights worth seeing. The city is rich not only in its buildings, but also in its human stories.
On this page, through the photos I have taken, I would like to show how I see this city - as a resident, as a photographer, as a bystander.
I hope that through the pictures I can convey the atmosphere, beauty and quiet values of Pápa. Check out the gallery and get to know this special little town from a photographer's perspective!
